Peter Copley — Bushey, Hertfordshire, England, UK doğumlu, 1915-05-20. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Peter Copley, İngiliz televizyon, film ve sahne oyuncusuydu. Bushey, Hertfordshire'da doğan Copley, baskı sanatçısı John Copley ve Ethel Gabain'ın oğluydu. Kraliyet Donanması'na katılma kararını değiştirdikten sonra, Old Vic Okulu'nda eğitim aldı ve 1932 yılında sahne oyunculuğuna adım attı. 1934 yılında ilk film deneyimini yaşadı ve kötü karakterlerden sakin tiplere kadar geniş bir yelpazede roller üstlendi. 1946 yılında Londra'daki New Theatre'da "Cyrano de Bergerac" oyununda sahne aldı. 1951'de ise Londra'nın West End bölgesindeki Duchess Theatre'da Michael Clayton Hutton'un komedi oyunu "The Happy Family"de yer aldı. Televizyonda birçok yapımda rol aldı; bunlar arasında Thorndyke, Danger Man, The Saint ve Doctor Who gibi diziler bulunmaktaydı. Copley, doksanlı yaşlarına kadar oyunculuğa devam etti ve 2001 yılında Batı İngiltere Üniversitesi tarafından Fahri Sanatlar Yüksek Lisansı ile ödüllendirildi.
