Philip Jackson — Retford, Nottinghamshire, England, UK doğumlu, 1948-06-18. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Philip Jackson, İngiliz aktör olarak tanınan bir isimdir ve özellikle Agatha Christie'nin Poirot dizisindeki Başmüfettiş Japp rolü ile dikkat çekmiştir. Ayrıca, 1980'lerin kült dizisi Robin of Sherwood'da tekrar eden bir düşman olan Abbot Hugo karakteriyle de bilinir. Retford, Nottinghamshire'da doğan Jackson, Bristol Üniversitesi'nde Drama ve Almanca eğitimi alırken oyunculuk kariyerine adım atmıştır. Leeds, Liverpool ve Londra'daki tiyatrolarda sahne almış, 1991'de West End'deki Queen's Theatre'da Samuel Beckett'in Godot'yu Beklerken eserinde Pozzo, 2010'da ise Arthur Miller'ın Satıcının Ölümü'nde Willy Loman rolünü oynamıştır. 1998'deki Little Voice performansıyla Screen Actors Guild Award'a aday gösterilmiştir. Televizyondaki diğer önemli yapımları arasında Coronation Street, A Touch of Frost, Foyle's War ve Midsomer Murders yer alırken, sinema kariyerinde Scum, Brassed Off ve My Week with Marilyn gibi filmlerde de rol almıştır. Ayrıca A-Ha'nın "Take On Me" müzik videosunda da görünmüştür.
