Roger Avon — Jarrow, Tyne and Wear, England, UK doğumlu, 1914-11-23. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Roger Avon, 23 Kasım 1914'te İngiltere'nin Tyne and Wear bölgesinde bulunan Jarrow'da dünyaya gelmiştir. Oyunculuk mesleğini seçen Avon, kariyeri boyunca kamera karşısına geçerek çeşitli rollerde yer almıştır. Sanatçının en bilinen yapımlarından biri, İngiliz televizyon tarihinin önemli yapımlarından sayılan Doctor Who (1963) dizisidir. Jarrow'da başlayan yaşam öyküsü, oyunculuk sanatına adanmış bir kariyerle şekillenmiş ve Roger Avon, bu alandaki emeğiyle tanınan isimlerden biri olmuştur.
