Marius Goring — Newport, Isle of Wight, England, UK doğumlu, 1912-05-23. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Marius Goring, İngiliz sahne ve perde oyuncusuydu; ünlü hekim ve kriminolog Dr. Charles Buckman Goring ile eski bir kadın hakları savunucusu ve yetenekli piyanist olan Kate Winifred (kızlık soyadı MacDonald) çiftinin oğluydu. Cambridge'deki The Perse School'da eğitim aldıktan sonra Frankfurt, Münih, Viyana ve Paris'teki (Sorbonne) üniversitelerde okudu; böylece Fransızca ve Almancasını mükemmelleştirerek her iki dilde de akıcı hâle geldi. Londra'daki Old Vic drama okulunda Harcourt Williams'ın öğrencisi olarak sahne sanatları eğitimi gördü. İlk sahne performansını 1925'te, on iki yaşındayken Cambridge'deki ADC Theatre'da Walter De La Mare'nin yazdığı tek oyun olan "Crossings: A Fairy Play"de bir peri rolüyle verdi. 1930'larda Old Vic ve Sadler's Wells'te düzenli olarak sahneye çıktı, ardından Fransa ve Almanya'yı turladı; Laurence Olivier gibi isimlerle birlikte Macbeth, Romeo ve Henry V'de Chorus gibi rolleri oynadı. Temmuz 1940'ta orduya katıldı, ertesi yıl BBC'nin Almanca servisine yapım denetçis
