Katy Perry — Santa Barbara, California, USA doğumlu, 1984-10-25. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Katy Perry, Amerikalı şarkıcı, söz yazarı ve televizyon jüri üyesi olarak pop müziği üzerindeki etkisiyle tanınmaktadır. Müzik kariyerine 16 yaşında gospel müziği ile başlayan Perry, 2001 yılında Red Hill Records aracılığıyla yayımladığı ilk albümü "Katy Hudson" ile ticari başarı elde edememiştir. 17 yaşında Los Angeles'a taşınarak seküler müziğe yönelen sanatçı, sahne ismi olarak annesinin kızlık soyadını kullanarak "Katy Perry" adını benimsemiştir. 2008 yılında çıkan ikinci albümü "One of the Boys" ile büyük bir çıkış yakalamış, bu albümdeki "I Kissed a Girl" ve "Hot n Cold" gibi parçalar Billboard Hot 100 listesinde üst sıralarda yer almıştır. 2010 yılında yayımlanan "Teenage Dream" albümü, beş adet U.S. numara bir single ile önemli bir başarı elde ederek solo kadın sanatçılar arasında bir ilki gerçekleştirmiştir.
