Ivan F. Simpson — Glasgow, Scotland, UK doğumlu, 1875-02-04. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Ivan F. Simpson, İskoç kökenli bir film ve sahne oyuncusudur. Genç yaşta New York City'ye giden Simpson, 1906'dan itibaren Broadway'de dört on yıl boyunca çalıştı. 1915 yılında sessiz film kariyerine adım atan Simpson, 1923 yapımı The Green Goddess filminde Mister Watkins rolüyle dikkat çekti. Bu rolü, yedi yıl sonra filmin sesli versiyonunda da canlandırdı. 1929'da Disraeli filminde Hugh Myers karakterini canlandırarak yakın arkadaşı George Arliss ile birlikte çalıştı; ikili toplamda dokuz filmde yer aldı. 1930'larda karakter oyuncusu olarak başarılı bir kariyer sürdüren Simpson, MGM'nin David Copperfield gibi klasik yapımlarında hizmetkar rollerinde, Mark of the Vampire gibi korku filmlerinde ise çeşitli karakterlerde yer aldı. Errol Flynn filmlerinde de sıkça görülen Simpson, 100'den fazla Hollywood filminde rol aldı ve son filmi 1948 yapımı My Girl Tisa'dır. 1951 yılında hayatını kaybeden Simpson, Kensico Mezarlığı'na defnedilmiştir. Kızı ise oyuncu Pamela Simpson'dur.
