Biyografi

Ingrid Pitt — Warsaw, Second Polish Republic [now Poland] doğumlu, 1937-11-21. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Ingrid Pitt, doğum adıyla Ingoushka Petrov, Polonya kökenli İngiliz bir aktris ve yazardı. Kariyeri boyunca hem oyunculuk hem de yazarlık alanlarında eserler ortaya koymuş olan Pitt, en çok 1970'li yıllarda çektiği korku filmleriyle tanınmış ve bu türde adından sıkça söz ettirmiştir. O dönemin korku sinemasına damgasını vuran yapımlarda yer alması, onu bu janrın önemli isimlerinden biri haline getirmiştir. Sadece beyazperdede değil, yazarlık yönüyle de dikkat çeken Pitt, çok yönlü bir sanatçı olarak hafızalarda yer etmiştir. Polonya kökenli olması ve İngiltere'de sürdürdüğü kariyeriyle iki farklı kültür
