Don Knotts — Morgantown, West Virgina, USA doğumlu, 1924-07-21. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Don Knotts, Amerikalı komedi oyuncusu olarak tanınmış ve en çok The Andy Griffith Show'daki Barney Fife karakteri ile Three's Company dizisindeki Ralph Furley rolüyle bilinir. Üç kez evlenen Knotts, ilk evliliğini Kathryn Metz ile 1947'de yapmış, 1964'te boşanmış ve bu süreçte kızıyla tek başına ilgilenmiştir. 1974'te Loralee Czuchna ile evlenmiş, ancak bu evlilik de 1983'te sona ermiştir. Son evliliğini 2002'de Frances Yarborough ile gerçekleştirmiştir ve bu birliktelik 2006'da Knotts'un vefatına kadar sürmüştür. İlk evliliğinden bir oğlu, Thomas Knotts, ve bir kızı, oyuncu Karen Knotts bulunmaktadır. Don Knotts, 24 Şubat 2006'da Los Angeles'taki Cedars-Sinai Tıp Merkezi'nde, akciğer kanserine bağlı pnömoni nedeniyle 81 yaşında hayata gözlerini yummuştur.
