Danny Kaye — Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA doğumlu, 1911-01-18. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Danny Kaye, Amerikalı bir aktör, komedyen, şarkıcı ve dansçı olarak tanınmıştır. Performansları, fiziksel komedi, kendine özgü pantomim ve hızlı tempolu eğlenceli şarkılarla dikkat çekmiştir. Toplamda 23 filmde rol almış, özellikle "Wonder Man" (1945), "The Kid from Brooklyn" (1946), "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" (1947), "The Inspector General" (1949), "Hans Christian Andersen" (1952), "White Christmas" (1954) ve "The Court Jester" (1955) gibi yapımlarla öne çıkmıştır. Kaye'nin filmleri, özellikle "Inchworm" ve "The Ugly Duckling" gibi şarkılarıyla büyük ilgi görmüştür. 1954'te UNICEF'in ilk büyükelçisi olarak görev yapmış ve 1986'da bu organizasyona yaptığı katkılardan dolayı Fransa'nın Onur Liyakat Nişanı'nı almıştır. Kaye, eğlence dünyasında bıraktığı iz bırakan performanslarıyla hatırlanmaktadır.
