Colin Gordon — Colombo, Ceylon. [now Sri Lanka] doğumlu, 1911-04-27. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Colin Gordon, İngiliz sinema ve televizyon dünyasında uzun soluklu bir kariyer sürdürmüş bir aktördü. Marlborough College ve Oxford'daki Christ Church'te eğitim gördü. West End'deki ilk sahne performansını 1934 yılında "Toad of Toad Hall" adlı oyunda bir atın arka bacakları rolüyle gerçekleştirdi. 1936-1939 yılları arasında Brixton'daki Fred Melville Repertuvar Kumpanyası'nda yönetmenlik yaptı ve İkinci Dünya Savaşı sırasında altı yıl boyunca orduda görev aldı. 1948'de "The Happiest Days of Your Life" oyunundaki Rupert Billings performansıyla Clarence Derwent ödülünü kazandı. 1940'lardan 1970'lere kadar genellikle devlet memuru rollerinde göründüğü kariyerinde The Pink Panther ve Casino Royale gibi filmlerde rol aldı, ancak en çok ITC'nin klasik dizisi The Prisoner'da Number Two karakterini canlandırmasıyla tanındı; bu rolü birden fazla kez oynayan Leo McKern ile birlikte yalnızca iki oyuncudan biriydi.
