Amanda Root

Biyografi

Amanda Root — Chelmsford, Essex, England doğumlu, 1963-01-01. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Amanda Root, İngiliz sahne ve ekran oyuncusu olarak tanınmakta olup, çocuk programları için seslendirme yapmış bir sanatçıdır. En çok 1995 yılında BBC tarafından çekilen Jane Austen'ın "Persuasion" uyarlamasındaki başrolüyle ve 2004 yılında Richard Lumsden ile birlikte oynadığı "All About Me" adlı Britanya komedisindeki Miranda karakteriyle bilinir. Ayrıca, seslendirme kariyerinde "BFG" adlı yapımda Sophie karakterine sesiyle hayat vermesiyle de dikkat çekmiştir. Sanatçı, sahne eğitimi için Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art'ta eğitim almıştır.
