William Conrad — Louisville, Kentucky, USA doğumlu, 1920-09-27. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. William Conrad, Amerikalı bir aktör, yapımcı ve yönetmendi. Asıl adı William Cann olan sanatçı, bir tiyatro sahibinin oğluydu; ailesi güney Kaliforniya'ya taşındığında okulda drama ve edebiyat alanlarında öne çıktı. 1930'ların sonlarında Kaliforniya'da radyoculuğa başlayan Conrad, II. Dünya Savaşı sırasında avcı pilotu olarak görev yaptı. 1942'de orduya katıldı ve 1943'te Arizona'daki Luke Field'da (bugünkü Luke Hava Kuvvetleri Üssü) subaylık rütbesi aldı; rütbesini aldığı gün June Nelson ile evlendi. Savaş sonrası radyoya geri dönerek, kendi ifadesine göre 7.000'den fazla role imza attı. Sinemada genellikle tehditkâr karakterlere büründüğü rolleriyle tanınan Conrad'ın en dikkat çeken performansı, ilk kredili rolü olan 1946 yapımı The Killers filminde Burt Lancaster'ı öldürmeye gönderilen tetikçilerden biriydi. Ayrıca Body and Soul (1947), Sorry, Wrong Number, Joan of Arc (her ikisi de 1948) ve The Naked Jungle (1954) gibi filmlerde de rol aldı.
