Perry King

Biyografi

Perry King — Alliance, Ohio, USA doğumlu, 1948-04-30. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Perry King, sinema kariyerine 1972 yılında Slaughterhouse-Five filmiyle adım attı. 1975'te Mandingo filminde Hammond Maxwell karakterini canlandırdı. 1970'lerden itibaren birçok uzun metrajlı film, televizyon dizisi ve televizyon filmi projelerinde yer aldı. Star Wars'ta Han Solo rolüne audition yapmış olsa da, bu rol Harrison Ford'a verildi; ancak King, Star Wars'un radyo uyarlamalarında ve devam filmlerinde bu karakteri seslendirdi. 1984 yılında The Hasty Heart adlı TV filmindeki performansıyla Golden Globe adaylığı elde etti ve aynı yıl Riptide dizisinde Cody Allen rolünü üstlendi. 1993'te Sidney Sheldon'ın A Stranger in the Mirror romanının televizyon uyarlamasında başrol oynadı. 1995'te Melrose Place'de Hayley Armstrong karakterini canlandırdı. 2000 yılında NBC dizisi Titans'da Richard Williams olarak yer aldı ve 2004 yapımı The Day After Tomorrow filminde Amerika Birleşik Devletleri Başkanı olarak rol aldı. Ayrıca Spin City, Will & Grace, Eve ve Cold Case gibi televizyon programlarında konuk oyuncu olarak da bulundu.
