Leslie Uggams — Harlem, New York City, New York, USA doğumlu, 1943-05-25. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Leslie Uggams, kariyerine 1950'lerin başında çocuk yaşta başlamış bir Amerikalı aktris ve şarkıcıdır. En çok, 1977 yılında yayımlanan "Roots" adlı televizyon mini dizisindeki Kizzy Reynolds karakteriyle tanınmaktadır; bu rolüyle hem Golden Globe hem de Emmy Ödülü'ne aday gösterilmiştir. Uggams, daha önce Broadway müzikali "Hallelujah, Baby!" ile büyük beğeni toplamış, 1967'de Theatre World Ödülü ve 1968'de En İyi Kadın Oyuncu Tony Ödülü'nü kazanmıştır. Kariyerinin ilerleyen dönemlerinde, Ryan Reynolds ile birlikte "Deadpool" (2016) ve "Deadpool 2" (2018) filmlerinde Blind Al karakteriyle yeniden dikkat çekmiş, ayrıca "Empire" dizisinde de tekrar eden bir rol üstlenmiştir.
