Lee Meriwether

Biyografi

Lee Meriwether — Los Angeles, California, USA doğumlu, 1935-05-27. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Lee Ann Meriwether, Amerikalı bir aktris ve eski modeldir. 1955 Miss America güzellik yarışmasının kazananıdır. Doğal kızıl saçları, açık mavi gözleri ve derin sesi ile tanınmaktadır. Meriwether, özellikle 1966 ile 1969 yılları arasında çekilen birkaç bilim kurgu ve fantastik yapımda yer almasıyla hatırlanmaktadır. 1966 yapımı Batman: The Movie’de hem kötü karakter Catwoman'ı hem de Bruce Wayne ile romantik bir ilişki yaşayan Kitka’yı canlandırmıştır. Ayrıca, 1970'lerde uzun süre devam eden suç draması Barnaby Jones'daki Betty Jones rolüyle dikkat çekmiş, bu rolü ona iki Altın Küre ve bir Emmy Ödülü adaylığı kazandırmıştır. 1990'ların popüler sitcom'u The Munsters'da ise John Schuck'un uzun saçlı eşi Lily Munster karakterini canlandırmıştır. Günümüzde televizyon projelerinde yer almaya devam etmekte ve All My Children adlı gündüz kuşağı dizisinde tekrar eden bir rol oynamaktadır.
