Kurt Russell — Springfield, Massachusetts, USA doğumlu, 1951-03-17. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Kurt Russell, 12 yaşında "The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters" adlı Western dizisinde oyunculuk kariyerine adım attı. 1960'ların sonlarında, The Walt Disney Company ile on yıllık bir sözleşme imzalayarak "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" (1969), "Now You See Him, Now You Don't" (1972) ve "The Strongest Man in the World" (1975) gibi filmlerde Dexter Riley karakterini canlandırdı. 1979'da "Elvis" filmindeki Elvis Presley performansı ile Primetime Emmy Ödülü'ne aday gösterildi. 1980'lerde Mike Nichols'un "Silkwood" filmindeki rolüyle En İyi Yardımcı Erkek Oyuncu dalında Altın Küre'ye aday oldu.
