David Foster — Victoria, British Columbia, Canada doğumlu, 1949-11-01. Ses alanında tanınır. David Foster, Kanadalı bir kayıt prodüktörü, besteci, aranjör ve müzisyendir. 47 adaylıktan 16 Grammy Ödülü kazanmıştır. Kariyerine 1970'lerin başında pop grubu Skylark'ta klavyeci olarak başlamış, sonrasında daha çok besteleme ve prodüksiyon alanına yönelmiştir. Özellikle şarkı yazarı Diane Warren ile birlikte çalışarak, çeşitli müzik türlerinde önde gelen sanatçılara katkıda bulunmuş ve Billboard Hot 100'de 40'tan fazla pop hitinin prodüktörlüğünü üstlenmiştir. Ayrıca, 2012'den 2016'ya kadar Verve Records'un başkanlığını yapmıştır. Foster, 2023'te Broadway'de prömiyeri yapılan Boop! The Musical isimli müzikali bestelemiş ve bu eseriyle müzik dalında Drama Desk Ödülü'ne aday gösterilmiştir.
