Daniel Cauchy — Boulogne-Billancourt, Seine [now Hauts-de-Seine], France doğumlu, 1930-03-13. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Daniel Cauchy, Fransız sinemasının önemli isimlerinden biri olarak tanınan bir aktör ve yapımcıdır. 1956 yılında Jean-Pierre Melville'in "Bob le flambeur" adlı suç filmindeki rolü ile dikkatleri üzerine çekmiştir. Cauchy, 8 Mayıs 2020 tarihinde COVID-19 nedeniyle hayatını kaybetmiştir. Sanatçı, sinema kariyerinin yanı sıra, oğlu Didier Cauchy'nin de aktör olarak kariyer yapmasıyla ailedeki sanatsal mirasa katkıda bulunmuştur.
