Charles Napier — Scottsville, Kentucky, USA doğumlu, 1936-04-12. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Charles Napier, Amerikan sinemasının tanınmış karakter oyuncularından biri olarak, hem televizyon hem de filmdeki birçok destekleyici ve zaman zaman başrol üstlendiği rolleriyle bilinir. U.S. Army'de görev yaptıktan sonra, Western Kentucky Üniversitesi'nden sanat diploması alarak eğitimine devam etti. İlk olarak spor koçluğu ve sanat öğretmenliği yaparken, oyunculuk kariyerine yönelmiş ve 1969 yılında Russ Meyer'in düşük bütçeli filmi Cherry, Harry & Raquel! ile dikkat çekmiştir. Sert ve otoriter karakterleri canlandırmasıyla tanınan Napier, The Blues Brothers'daki sinirli şarkıcı Tucker McElroy ve Rambo: First Blood Part II'deki CIA ajanı Marshall Murdock gibi unutulmaz rollere imza atmıştır. Ayrıca, Jonathan Demme ile gerçekleştirdiği The Silence of the Lambs ve Philadelphia gibi projelerde de yer almıştır. Televizyonda The A-Team, The Oregon Trail ve Star Trek dizilerinde de önemli roller üstlenmiştir. Kendine has sesi, kararlı bakışları ve belirgin çenesiyle öne çıkan Napier, 2011 yılında Bakersfield, California'da thrombosis nedeniyle vefat etmiştir.
