Biyografi

Celeste Holm — Brooklyn, New York, USA doğumlu, 1917-04-29. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Celeste Holm, Amerikalı bir aktris olarak tanınmaktadır. Elia Kazan’ın yönettiği Gentleman's Agreement (1947) filmindeki etkileyici performansıyla bir Akademi Ödülü kazanmıştır. Ayrıca, Come to the Stable (1949) ve All About Eve (1950) filmlerindeki rolleriyle de Oscar’a aday gösterilmiştir. Holm, The Snake Pit (1948), A Letter to Three Wives (1949) ve High Society (1956) gibi önemli yapımlardaki performanslarıyla da dikkat çekmiştir. Sinema kariyeri boyunca çeşitli türlerdeki filmlerde yer alarak geniş bir izleyici kitlesine ulaşmıştır.
