Carroll O'Connor — Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA doğumlu, 1924-08-02. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Carroll O'Connor, 1970'lerde televizyon dünyasında tanınan bir Amerikan aktörü, yapımcı ve yönetmendir. Kariyeri dört on yılı kapsayan O'Connor, ilk olarak 1970 yapımı Kelly's Heroes filminde Major General Colt karakteri ile dikkat çekti. Ancak asıl ününü, 1971'den 1979'a kadar süren CBS sitcomu All in the Family'de canlandırdığı önyargılı işçi Archie Bunker rolüyle kazandı. Bu karakter, toplumun farklı kesimlerini eleştiren bir yapımın merkezinde yer aldı. O'Connor, 1979'dan 1983'e kadar Archie Bunker's Place adlı dizide de aynı karaktere hayat vermeye devam etti. 1988'den 1995'e kadar NBC'nin suç draması In the Heat of the Night'te güneyli polis şefi William (Bill) Gillespie rolünü üstlendi. Kariyerinin son dönemlerinde ise Mad About You dizisinde Jamie Stemple Buchman'ın babası olarak izleyici karşısına çıktı.
