Will Geer — Frankfort, Indiana, USA doğumlu, 1902-03-09. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Will Geer, Amerikalı bir oyuncu ve sosyal aktivistti; asıl adı William Aughe Ghere idi. En çok 1970'lerin dizisi The Waltons'ta canlandırdığı Büyükbaba Zebulon Tyler Walton karakteriyle hatırlanır. Broadway'deki ilk çıkışını 1928 yapımı Much Ado About Nothing'de Pistol rolüyle yaptı, Marc Blitzstein'ın The Cradle Will Rock eserinde Mr. Mister rolünü yarattı, John Steinbeck'in Of Mice and Men adlı romanının tiyatro uyarlamasında Candy'yi canlandırdı ve 1940'lar boyunca pek çok oyun ve revüde yer aldı. 1948-1951 arasında Winchester '73 (Wyatt Earp rolüyle), Broken Arrow, Comanche Territory (1950) ve Bright Victory (1951) dahil onlarca filmde oynadı. 1934'te Amerika Birleşik Devletleri Komünist Partisi'ne üye oldu ve Harry Hay'i partide örgütlenmeye yönlendirmede etkili oldu; aynı yıl 83 gün süren 1934 Batı Kıyısı liman grevine destek verdi. Woody Guthrie ve Burl Ives gibi halk müziği sanatçılarıyla birlikte hükümetin çalışma kamplarını gezerek aktivizmini sürdürdü; Guthrie'yi People's World ve Daily
