Biyografi

Tony Rosato — Naples, Campania, Italy doğumlu, 1954-12-26. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Tony Rosato, İtalyan-Kanadalı bir aktör ve komedyendi; televizyon ve sinema projelerinde yer aldı. Kariyerinde en çok SCTV ve Saturday Night Live'daki kadro üyeliğiyle tanındı. Nitekim Rosato, Robin Duke ve Martin Short ile birlikte hem SCTV hem de SNL kadrosunda yer alan sadece üç oyuncudan biri oldu; ayrıca ne Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nde ne de Kanada'da doğmuş olan ilk isimdi. SCTV'de canlandırdığı ünlüler arasında Lou Costello (SNL'deki döneminde de canlandırdığı bir karakter), William Conrad, Danny Thomas, Woodstock'un ortak organizatörü Chip Monck, SNL'in kadrosundan John Belushi, Tony Orlando, Don Ho ve Ella Fitzgerald bulunuyordu. SNL'deki süresi kısa olsa da, Lou Grant rolündeki Ed Asner, Captain Kangaroo ve ABD Başsavcısı Ed Meese gibi akılda kalan karakterleri canlandırdı. Ayrıca The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 ve Super Mario World yapımlarında Luigi karakterine seslendirme yaptı.
