Tom Hollander

Biyografi

Tom Hollander — Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, UK doğumlu, 1967-08-25. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Thomas Anthony Hollander, genç yaşlardan itibaren sanata olan ilgisiyle dikkat çekmiş bir oyuncudur. Eğitimine Dragon School ve Abingdon School'da devam ettikten sonra, 14 yaşında BBC yapımı "John Diamond" ile profesyonel kariyerine adım atmıştır. Cambridge Üniversitesi'nde İngiliz Edebiyatı okurken, sahne yeteneğini geliştirmek üzere "Marlowe Society" gibi öğrenci tiyatro topluluklarında aktif rol almıştır. Kariyerinin başlangıcında tiyatroda başarılı performanslar sergileyen Hollander, 1992 yılında "The Way of the World" oyunundaki rolüyle Ian Charleson Ödülü'nü kazanarak İngiltere'nin en yetenekli genç sahne oyuncularından biri olarak tanınmıştır. Sinemaya geçişi ise 2001 yılında "Gosford Parkı" ile olmuştur. En çok tanınan rolü ise 2005 yapımı "Aşk ve Gurur" filmindeki Mr. Collins karakteridir. Hollander, "Karayip Korsanları" serisindeki Lord Cutler Beckett ile uluslararası başarı elde ederken, televizyon kariyerinde de "Rev." ve "The Night Manager" gibi projelerle öne çıkmıştır.
