Scatman Crothers — Terre Haute, Indiana, USA doğumlu, 1910-05-23. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Benjamin Sherman "Scatman" Crothers, Amerikalı bir aktör, şarkıcı, dansçı ve müzisyendir. En çok, "Chico and the Man" adlı televizyon dizisindeki Louie the Garbage Man karakteri ve 1980 yapımı "The Shining" filmindeki Dick Hallorann rolüyle tanınır. Ayrıca, seslendirme sanatçısı olarak da oldukça verimlidir. Crothers, animasyon dizisi "The Harlem Globetrotters"da Meadowlark Lemon, "The Transformers"da Jazz the Autobot, "Hong Kong Phooey"de baş karakter ve 1970 yapımı "The Aristocats" filminde Scat Cat karakterinin sesini vermiştir.
