Paul Reubens — Peekskill, New York, USA doğumlu, 1952-08-27. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Paul Reubens, Amerikalı bir aktör, yazar, film yapımcısı, yarışma programı sunucusu ve komedyen olarak tanınır ve en çok Pee-wee Herman karakteri ile bilinir. 1970'lerde Los Angeles'taki The Groundlings topluluğuna katılan Reubens, kariyerine doğaçlama komedyen ve sahne oyuncusu olarak başladı. 1982'de uzun yıllar üzerinde çalıştığı karakterle ilgili bir şovda yer almaya başladı. The Pee-wee Herman Show adıyla bilinen bu program, beş ay boyunca kapalı gişe oynadı ve HBO, bu şov hakkında başarılı bir özel program üretti. Pee-wee, hızla bir kült figür haline geldi ve sonraki on yıl boyunca Reubens, tüm kamuya açık etkinliklerinde ve röportajlarında bu karakterle yer aldı. 1985'te Tim Burton'ın yönettiği Pee-wee's Big Adventure adlı uzun metrajlı filmi, hem finansal hem de eleştirel olarak büyük başarı elde etti ve kısa sürede bir kült filmi haline geldi. Devam filmi Big Top Pee-wee (1988) ise daha az ilgi gördü. 1986 ile 1990 yılları arasında Reubens, CBS'nin cumartesi sabahı çocuk programı Pee-wee's Playhouse'ta Pee-wee olarak rol aldı.
