Matthew Broderick — New York City, New York, USA doğumlu, 1962-03-21. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Matthew Broderick, Amerikalı bir sahne ve ekran oyuncusudur. 1980'lerin başında off-Broadway prodüksiyonlarında oyunculuğa başlayan Broderick, Neil Simon'un yazdığı Brighton Beach Memoirs ile Tony Ödülü kazanmıştır. 1983 yılında Max Dugan Returns adlı filmdeki ilk ekran rolünü üstlenmiş ve aynı yıl WarGames filmindeki genç bir hacker karakteriyle çıkış yapmıştır. 1985'teki Ferris Bueller's Day Off filmi, onu tanınan bir isim haline getirmiştir. Ardından Glory (1989), The Lion King (1994), The Cable Guy (1996), Godzilla (1998) ve Election (1999) gibi önemli filmlerde rol almıştır. Broadway'de de aktif olarak sahne almış, 1995'te How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying adlı performansıyla ikinci Tony Ödülü'nü kazanmış, 2001'de ise The Producers ile üçüncü kez aday olmuştur. 1985 yılında İrlanda'da geçirdiği bir trafik kazasında iki kişinin ölümüne sebep olmuş, daha sonra bu olaydan dolayı mahkemeye çıkmıştır. 1997'den beri aktris Sarah Jessica Parker ile evli olan Broderick'in üç çocuğu bulunmaktadır.
