Martha Hyer — Fort Worth, Texas, USA doğumlu, 1924-08-10. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Martha Hyer, Amerikalı bir aktris olarak sinema dünyasında önemli bir yer edinmiştir. Northwestern Üniversitesi'nde eğitim aldıktan sonra 1946'da The Locket filmiyle kariyerine adım attı. 1953'te So Big, 1954'te Sabrina, 1956'da Jerry Lewis'in Dean Martin ile birlikte çekmediği ilk film olan The Delicate Delinquent ve 1958'de Houseboat gibi yapımlarda rol aldı. 1960'larda Ice Palace, Desire in the Dust, The Carpetbaggers ve The Sons of Katie Elder gibi birçok filmde yer aldı. Televizyonda ise Rawhide dizisinde "Hannah Haley" karakterini canlandırdı. En dikkat çekici rolü, 1958 yapımı Some Came Running filminde Frank Sinatra'nın sevgilisi olarak yer almasıydı; bu performansı ona En İyi Yardımcı Kadın Oyuncu dalında Oscar adaylığı kazandırdı. 1966'da yapımcı Hal B. Wallis ile evlenen Hyer, 1986'da eşinin vefatına kadar birlikte yaşadı. 2014 yılında doğal nedenlerden ötürü hayatını kaybetti.
