John Lydon — London, England, UK doğumlu, 1956-01-31. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. John Lydon, sahne ismiyle Johnny Rotten, İngiliz şarkıcı, söz yazarı ve müzisyendir. En çok, 1975-1978 yılları arasında faaliyet gösteren ve 1990'lar ile 2000'lerde çeşitli yeniden birleşmeler yaşayan Sex Pistols grubunun solisti olarak tanınır. Ayrıca, 1978'den 1993'e kadar ve 2009'dan itibaren sürdürdüğü post-punk grubu Public Image Ltd (PiL) ile de bilinir. Lydon'un asi duruşu, isyankar imajı ve özgün moda tarzı, onu Sex Pistols'un solisti olmaya ikna eden menajerleri Malcolm McLaren tarafından dikkat çekici bulunmuştur.
