Francis Rossi — Forest Hill, London, England, UK doğumlu, 1949-05-29. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Francis Rossi, İngiliz müzisyen ve rock grubu Status Quo'nun kurucu üyelerinden biridir. Rossi, müzik kariyerine 1960'ların başında, Sedgehill Comprehensive School'da tanıştığı Alan Lancaster ile birlikte başladığı Scorpions isimli grupta yer alarak adım attı. Bu grup, daha sonra Spectres adını aldı ve kendi müziklerini yazıp sahne almaya başladı. Rossi, 1965'te Butlins tatil kampında Rick Parfitt ile tanışarak sıkı bir dostluk geliştirdi. İkili, müzik kariyerlerine birlikte devam etme kararı aldı. Spectres, 1966'da Piccadilly Records ile beş yıllık bir anlaşma imzaladı ancak çıkardıkları üç single listelerde yer bulamadı. Zamanla gruplarının ismini değiştiren Rossi ve arkadaşları, 1967'de Traffic Jam adını alarak psychedelia tarzına yöneldiler ve ardından Status Quo olarak bilinen grubu kurdular. Rossi, grupta lead vokalist ve gitarist olarak önemli bir rol üstlenmiş ve grupta sürekli kalan tek üye olmuştur.
