Dennis Muren — Glendale, California, USA doğumlu, 1946-11-01. Görsel efekt alanında tanınır. Dennis Muren, A.S.C., Amerikalı bir film görsel efekt sanatçısı ve süpervizörüdür. George Lucas, Steven Spielberg ve James Cameron gibi ünlü yönetmenlerle çalışarak, toplamda dokuz Oscar kazanmıştır; bunlardan sekizi En İyi Görsel Efekt dalında ve biri de Teknik Başarı Ödülü'dür. Görsel Efektler Derneği, Muren'i "sürekli öğrenen, öğretici, yenilikçi ve mentor" olarak tanımlamıştır.
