Buddy Ebsen — Belleville, Illinois, USA doğumlu, 1908-04-02. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Christian Ludolf "Buddy" Ebsen Jr., yedi on yılı kapsayan bir kariyere sahip Amerikalı bir oyuncu ve dansçıydı. CBS'in The Beverly Hillbillies (1962–1971) adlı komedi dizisinde Jed Clampett rolüyle ve aynı kanalda yayınlanan Barnaby Jones (1973–1980) polisiye dizisinde başrol karakteriyle tanınmıştır. SAG-AFTRA kayıtlarında Frank "Buddy" Ebsen olarak da geçmektedir. Ebsen, 1939 yapımı "The Wizard of Oz" filminde ilk Teneke Adam olarak seçilmiş, ancak makyajında kullanılan alüminyum tozuna alerjik tepki göstererek hastalanmış ve filmden çekilmek zorunda kalmıştır. Televizyon kariyerine 1949'da The Chevrolet Tele-Theatre'da bir bölümle başlamış, ardından Stars Over Hollywood, Gruen Guild Playhouse, Broadway Television Theatre, Schlitz Playhouse of Stars, Corky and White Shadow, Studio 57, Screen Directors Playhouse, Climax!, Tales of Wells Fargo, The Martha Raye Show, Playhouse 90, Westinghouse Desilu Playhouse, Johnny Ringo, Bonanza, Maverick ve 77 Sunset Strip gibi pek çok yapımda rol almıştır. Disneyland'in Davy Crockett (1954–1955) mini dizisinde Georgie Russel karakterini canlandırarak geniş çapta tanınmıştır.
