Bea Arthur — New York City, New York, USA doğumlu, 1922-05-13. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Bea Arthur, Brooklyn, New York'ta doğmuş bir Amerikalı aktris ve komedyendir. 1947 yılında sahne kariyerine adım atan Arthur, 1970'lerde televizyon dünyasında Maude Findlay karakteriyle tanınmaya başladı. "All in the Family" ve "Maude" dizlerindeki rolleri ile büyük bir beğeni topladı. 1980'ler ve 1990'larda ise "The Golden Girls" dizisinde Dorothy Zbornak karakteri ile dünya çapında ün kazandı. Kariyeri boyunca birçok ödül kazanan Arthur, 1966'da Tony Ödülü'nü, 1977'de ve 1988'de ise Emmy Ödülleri'ni kazanarak önemli bir başarı elde etti.
