Alison Steadman — Liverpool, England, UK doğumlu, 1946-08-26. Oyunculuk alanında tanınır. Alison Steadman, İngiliz bir aktris olarak kariyerine 1968 yılında profesyonel sahne performansıyla başlamıştır. Mike Leigh'in 1970'lerdeki televizyon oyunları olan Nuts in May (1976) ve Abigail's Party (1977) ile tanınan Steadman, 1991 yılında Life is Sweet filmiyle En İyi Kadın Oyuncu dalında National Society of Film Critics Ödülü'nü kazanmıştır. Ayrıca, 1993 yılında The Rise and Fall of Little Voice adlı eserdeki Mari rolüyle Olivier Ödülü'nü almıştır. 2007 yılında Channel 4 tarafından düzenlenen "En İyi 50 Aktör" anketinde, diğer aktörler tarafından 42. sırada yer almıştır. Televizyondaki önemli rolleri arasında Pride and Prejudice (1995), Gavin & Stacey (2007–10, 2019) ve Orphan Black (2015–16) bulunmaktadır.
